Nutrient Dense Smoothie
So often we send our kids, or ourselves, out the door in the morning filled with a heavy, and not very nutrient filled, breakfast. At our house pancakes, french toast, oatmeal, and cereals were the standard. Until, I convinced my sons to try this nutrient dense smoothie. They protested. Until they tasted it.
Nutrient Dense Morning Smoothie
2 cups raw spinach
1 serving CBD tincture (8-10 mg of CBD)
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon maple syrup (or honey or other sweetener) to taste
1 serving of your favorite protein powder (we use collagen protein)
2 cups water
4-6 ice cubes
This smoothie is packed with protein, healthy fats, magnesium, folate, vitamins (K, B2, B6, E, A), fiber, AND CBD for a smooth day. It only takes minutes to make, and fills you up until lunch, with ingredients that keep you strong and focused.
It has become a favorite at our house, even on the weekend, unseating the coma-inducing pancakes!
